See NYC’s dazzling holiday window displays

New York’s vibrant fashion capital can usually be relied on to provide an array of exciting window displays during the holidays, and from mid-November to Christmas, every year sees a flurry of window displays that will spark a bout of window shopping or window shopping for a bout of window shopping.

About 30 stores are decorated by independent designers for the annual holiday market, including Ellipsis on the Soho, Vantone on the Upper East Side and Nobuhara Luxury Furniture on the Upper West Side. Also included are shops that have been involved in the holiday window display displays since 1979.

Eleven participating stores in the holiday display include George Malkemus, Mary Ida, Prattst Design, Antique Launches, Sandro, The Hackerman Shop, Tabitha & Simone, Elizabeth and James, My 600lb Life, Todd Snyder and Vivienne Tam. About 30 unique window displays will be unveiled in the evening on 22 May.
